Winemaking Notes:
Fiano is gently aromatic and blessed with beautiful natural acidity.
We work hard aiming to play to these strengths, so gently press
the fruit, hold it at low temperature to let it settle, then ferment
the clean juice slowly at cool temperature. After fermentation we
keep it simple, to ensure a light, crisp aromatic style.
Vineyard Report:
The ’23 vintage was much cooler and later than normal after a
cold spring with above average rainfall during the growing season.

Tasting Note:
Fiano is an exciting white hailing from the Italian coastal region of
Campania in southern Italy and Sicily. Known as ‘The vine
beloved of bees’, it thrives in moderate to warm and dry climates.
Our Western Ridge soils are ideal for this terrific newcomer.
We want our Fiano to express its varietal attributes, which means
that it is fresh, light and vibrant. A great wine for summer sessions
with aromas of stone fruits, tropical hints, and citrus-like acidity…
but also length of flavour that guarantees that ‘second glass’
appeal!
Food Pairing:
Calamari done any which way; Vegetable quesadilla; pan-fried
Tommy ruff fillets; Thai green chicken curry. Options galore!
